The most dedicated I ever was to one game was Call of Duty: Ghosts. I tend to gravitate towards the less practical and obscure ways to play. I agree, there's definitely a learning curve that I'm probably near the bottom of. Gear and skills aside actually clicking on the monsters fast enough and in such a way that you charge lock can be a major skill in itself, but part of the fun of the build. Going deeper into the zeal hybrid you would want fanatasicm/ magic hammer rather than conviction. Zeal and crushing below is probrably better for bosses, but crushing blow with charge can also work. I suppose you could spec out of it once level and gear are adequate. I suggest either vengance or magic hammer, both of which you already have synergies for (conviction/ vigor).Ĭonviction aura is still usually the main aura due to help with attack rating. You will need a source of non physical for the non-undead physical immune. Sanctuary aura helps with undead/ undead physical immune. On 1h weapons any slow hard hitter will do. Trick is to, unsurprisingly, to get a very hard hitting weapon like maul with as much %ed as possible. I have got to 80+ on my solo chargers before. I never made an insight since it used to be restricted to online but unlimited mana is amazing for mobility with charge+vigor. Since its a slow hard hitting build you don’t need much mana leech to be sustainable with charge. My charger is only level 20 or so in d2r but already cruising around doing hefty max damage.
